Opportunity Description

HumanEdge Allied Health Staffing is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week contract in a Long-Term Acute Care hospital in East Cleveland, OH. Local and travel RRTs are welcome to apply. The ideal LTAC RT will have: State RT Licensure, ACLS, BLS, 2+ years of experience providing direct patient care.

  • Immediate interview and offer for highly qualified RTs
  • Flexible schedule options on day shift and night shift
  • 36 hours per week for full-time - PRN Part-time schedules may also be available

Job Duties

LTAC Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities May Include:

  • Providing care to patients with a wide range of complex, critical care needs
  • Providing patient and caregiver education
  • Performing timely, accurate charting of all treatments 
  • Creating and implementing care plans
  • Insertion, maintenance, and removal of endotracheal tubes
  • Providing medications and breathing treatments
  • Responding to life-saving emergencies
Experience & Skills Required

LTAC Respiratory Therapist Must-Haves

  • State RT licensure 
  • ACLS 
  • BLS
  • Recent experience provided direct respiratory care to patients in a hospital setting
  • Excellent time and task management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
