Opportunity Description

HumanEdge Allied Health is hiring Registered Nurses with Med/Surg experience to work for a healthcare provider outside Riverhead, New York. This is a 13-week contract offered by HumanEdge Allied Health. The hired Med/Surg Registered Nurse will be working 40 hours per week on a day schedule. Weekends are not required. Daily travel between patients is required, and the hired Registered Nurse may be traveling 100 miles or more per week between scheduled visits. 

Local and travel Registered Nurses with Med/Surg experience are encouraged to apply.

Job Duties

As the Med/Surg RN, you will:

  • Provide care for patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation
  • Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes
  • Be well-versed in a large variety of health conditions
Experience & Skills Required

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Registered Nursing
  • State or Compact RN License
  • At least 1 year of experience working in Med-Surg
  • ACLS
  • BLS
