Opportunity Description

HumanEdge Allied Health is interviewing School Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCCs)  for the 2023-2024 school year. Local and travel School Speech-Language Pathologists are welcome to apply. Out-of-state SLPs must have OR SLP credentials in-hand prior to the beginning of the school year. This job is a full-time contract for the full 2023-2024 school year. 

 

  • Assignment Type: Full-time contract
  • Assignment Location: Salem, OR
  • Contract Length: 2023-2024 school year
  • Schedule: Mon – Fri, 37.5 hours worked per week
Job Duties
  • Test and assess students in the areas of speech, language, voice, fluency, hearing and communication 
  • Develop and implement small group and one-on-one therapies  
  • Select and train students, parents, staff and other appropriate stakeholders on the use and implementation of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices as needed
  • Participate in IEP conferences, team meetings, and problem-solving meetings
  • Develop long-term and short-term IEP goals and metrics 
  • Electronic charting of all services and therapy notes
Experience & Skills Required
  • Master’s Degree or higher in Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • OR DOE Speech certification, as required
  • State Speech-Language Pathologist certifcation 
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs)
  • NPI #
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a school/educational setting
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and re-arrange tasks and schedules as required
Other Information

All HumanEdge compensation packages are custom made to meet your goals and needs, and will vary for each individual. Packages for School SLPs typically range from $1500 - $2000 or more per week. Travel stipends are available for those who qualify.
