Operating Room Registered Nurse. HumanEdge is looking to hire an OR Nurse to work in one of Connecticut's largest health care systems.

Shift- 10 hour Days. ASAP Start -13 week contract, option to extend. No call, No weekends! This am ambulatory Eye center position.

Job Duties

Responsibilities • Assess patients condition before surgery • Ensure that the Operating Room is prepared with all necessary supplies, implants, instrumentation, and equipment • Keep the operating room sterilized • Position the patient on operating table • Pass medical instruments to the surgeons during operation • Monitor patient’s vital signs • Evaluate postoperative patients • Reviews charts for completeness

Experience & Skills Required

1-2 years hospital based OR experience

Opthamology experience preferred

EPIC experience a plus
