Endocrinology RN Opportunity – West Orange, NJ!

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Position: Full-Time (No weekends!)

As an Endocrinology RN, you’ll provide specialized care to patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, and other hormone-related conditions. You'll work closely with healthcare professionals, monitor patient progress, educate patients on self-care, and administer treatments.
Experience & Skills Required
Active RN License in New Jersey
2+ years of nursing experience (preferably in endocrinology, internal medicine, or a similar specialty)
Experience in managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, and other hormone-related issues
Familiarity with medication administration and monitoring in an endocrine setting
Knowledge of diabetes education and patient self-management practices is highly preferred
Skills:
Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills, particularly in relation to chronic disease management
Ability to educate and counsel patients on self-care, medication adherence, and lifestyle changes related to endocrinology
Collaborative skills to work with a multidisciplinary team (physicians, dietitians, etc.)
Proficiency in EMR systems and documentation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and families
Ability to handle complex medical cases and make critical decisions in patient care
Organizational and time management skills to manage multiple patients and follow up on treatment plans
