We have an immediate for an experienced RN to run a busy Employee Health Department.

Job Duties

Provides clinical leadership and expertise in primary care.
Assesses, monitors and implements supportive nursing care, health counseling and education to patients related to workplace injuries and employee illnesses occurring in the workplace.
Communicates with all levels of management and Human Resources, as well as third party vendors.
Conducts initial assessment of Workers' Compensation injuries and administers first aid when determines need for advanced medical referral.
Conducts pre-employment screenings: scheduling, exam preparation, specimen collection, result follow-up, medical record notes and inter department communications.
Conducts initial assessment of Workers' Compensation injuries and administers first aid when determines need for advanced medical referral.
Administers immunizations and PPDs as required.
Takes and record vital signs. Requests laboratory results.
Assists medical providers with procedures as requested.
Performs return-to-work exams
Collaborates with department managers and/or Human Resources to related to documented employee restrictions and requests for accommodations.

Experience & Skills Required

Three years hands-on nursing experience.
Excellent customer service skills, good phone skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
Bachelors Degree in Nursing, prior Employee Health experience preferred.
