We have an immediate for an experienced RN to run a busy Employee Health Department.

Job Duties
  • Provides clinical leadership and expertise in primary care.
  • Assesses, monitors and implements supportive nursing care, health counseling and education to patients related to workplace injuries and employee illnesses occurring in the workplace.
  • Communicates with all levels of management and Human Resources, as well as third party vendors. 
  • Conducts initial assessment of Workers' Compensation injuries and administers first aid when determines need for advanced medical referral.
  • Conducts pre-employment screenings: scheduling, exam preparation, specimen collection, result follow-up, medical record notes and inter department communications.
  • Conducts initial assessment of Workers' Compensation injuries and administers first aid when determines need for advanced medical referral.
  • Administers immunizations and PPDs as required. 
  • Takes and record vital signs. Requests laboratory results.
  • Assists medical providers with procedures as requested. 
  • Performs return-to-work exams
  • Collaborates with department managers and/or Human Resources to related to documented employee restrictions and requests for accommodations. 
Experience & Skills Required
  • Three years hands-on nursing experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills, good phone skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing, prior Employee Health experience preferred.
