Job Duties

Possess, use, and maintain knowledge of radiation protection and safety (ALARA guidelines).
Direct and perform a sterile prep of patients for various procedures
Assist physicians in all aspects of complex procedures in their assigned area (sterile scrub).
Demonstrate knowledge of the operation of all IR and OR hybrid procedure rooms.

Experience & Skills Required

Must be proficient in vascular studies listed below.
- Venous Duplex – Upper and Lower Extremity Arterial Bypass – Upper and Lower Extremity
- Fistula Hemodialysis
- Graft Aortic Grafts and AAA Renal Artery Duplex Mesenteric
- Artery Duplex Pulse Volume Recording (PVR) – Upper and Lower Extremity Vein Mapping – Upper and Lower Extremity Venous Reflux Duplex for Venous Insufficiencies
- Hepatic-Portal DuplexEducation
Must hold current New York State registration or possess a limited permit to practice in the State of New York and by registered by the ARRT. CPR certification is required
