Job Posting: Physical Therapist (Contract - 3 Months, Renewable)
Location: Wayne, NJ

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist for a 3-month contract position, with the possibility of renewal, to join our team in Wayne, NJ. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for administering a variety of physical therapy treatments aimed at restoring function, preventing disability, and helping residents achieve their maximum performance levels.

Responsibilities:

Administer various types of physical therapy treatments to residents in accordance with established standards and protocols.

Evaluate residents to determine the type of physical therapy treatment required based on individual needs.

Monitor, record, and analyze residents' reactions and progress during treatments.

Ensure the safety and well-being of residents by understanding and applying the indications, contraindications, and precautionary measures for physical therapy treatments.

Collaborate effectively with associates and residents, fostering a harmonious and cooperative work environment.

Provide education and guidance to residents and their families on treatment plans and expected outcomes.

Qualifications:

Proven knowledge of the principles, methods, and commonly used equipment in physical therapy.

Strong understanding of the effects and benefits of various physical therapy treatments.

Ability to evaluate residents’ needs and progress effectively.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.

Compassionate and dedicated to enhancing the well-being of residents.

Additional Information:

This is a contract position for 3 months, with the possibility of extension or renewal.

Previous experience in skilled nursing facilities is preferred but not required.
